Valuable natural resources are used during the production of our products. It takes as much as 20,000 litres of drinking water to produce a single T-shirt. Around 25% of the insecticides and roughly 11% of the pesticides sold around the world are used in cotton production. Used clothing provides a source of new fiber, reducing the use of environmental toxins and saving drinking water.
The FWS approach to sophisticated, professional recycling makes it possible to reuse nearly all old textiles (more than 90%). Textile recycling saves vital resource and reduces the environmental impact.
